Our dental insurance offers affordable coverage with MetLife’s Preferred Dental Program (PDP), featuring a nationwide network of dentists who offer reduced fees. You have the freedom to choose an in-network or out-of-network dentist,2 but keep in mind that out-of-network care will increase your out-of-pocket expenses.
Plan Details
Retirees may choose between two dental plans. Spouse and dependent coverage are available with both plans.
Choice 1:
- Diagnostic and Preventative Care
- Lower-cost plan for basic dental needs
- Covers a percentage of PDP fees after deductible
- Yearly individual maximum: $1,200
Choice 2:
- Extensive Dental Needs
- Plan for more comprehensive dental care
- Covers a percentage of PDP fees after deductible
- Yearly individual maximum: $2,000
Both plans have a $50 annual deductible per person up to a maximum of $150 per family per calendar year.
